The wild potato plant can be found in red forests. Unlike the more common mushroom, which is also found in the same type of forest, this plant will give you seeds which can be replanted. Player planted potatoes have the highest default "hardiness" out of all plants, meaning they have higher survival rate in more harsh conditions, such as cold.
