When taking monuments such as Missile Silo, Military Tunnels, or others where you may get camped or risk dying and losing all your loot, it is wise to hide your backpack somewhere safe.
- The best skin for this is overwhelmingly the Alpacasita backpack. It has a glitch where it starts to de-render at around 8 meters. This can happen both when it is worn or when it is on the ground. Graphics quality does not affect this behavior. The same glitch also occurs with the Carbon Facemask, which is the most well-known example of this issue.
Here is a bind that allows you to drop your backpack or shield. It must be held down for 0.50 seconds as a safety feature.

P.S. If the backpack is empty and you have a free slot it will go to your inventory, if one single item is in there, it will fall, if you get disconnected or leave the game the game the backpack will stay with you though.
