The most dense oil barrel location is underneath dome. Up to 6 oil barrels underneath and 4 on the two silos beside dome.

As of 2025, it now costs 1.68 wood to cook 1 crude oil in a refinery.

If you have a minicopter do the following:
Fly to the top of dome and loot it, then go down to the bottom and hit all the crude barrels, the go to the 3 silos to the side and loot them also, If the dome is close to a harbour you should go and hit the 4 Crude barrels next to the small oil refinery also, If the dome/ harbour is close to an airfield you should go and hit the crude oil ontop of the silos there and inside the main building with a recycler that you put a fuse in, you should buy this point have around 250 Crude oil on a vanilla server, if the monuments are close this will cost you around 100 low grade and bag you around 750 lowgrade (250crude = 750lgf)
