To stab more quickly with a spear, have 2 in your hotbar, stab, and immediately after the stab makes contact with whatever it is touching, switch to the other spear. This will give you about 1 more second of quick spear stab animation. This is good for spear raiding and farming barrels. This also applies with the Stone Spear

It takes exactly 12 wooden spears, then upgraded to stone spears (when broken), to soft side pick a stone wall
