Water Jug
The water jug is an item which carries water and can be held in the players hot-bar or inventory. The water jug is far superior to the water bucket because of its extra 1,000 ml capacity and its ability to hold water while not in the hands of the user. It is most commonly used in large numbers to carry massive amounts of water to a players base in one trip. It is highly recommended that you have multiple of these items if you plan to have any kind of indoor farm because of the water bonus to farming.

I thought my water jug was bugged because I couldn't dump water out of it. It turns out it needs to contain at least 1000mL before you can dump it.

The Water Jug is very usefull for when going to the launch site factory area because of the high raditaion of which water heal against.

Left-clicking will throw out the contained water. Unlike the Small Water Bottle.
To drink from it, click on the item and press "Drink Contents".

A large box full of full jugs hold 3x as more as a large water catcher, which just reinforces how trash the large water catcher is.

If you are in somekind of water container press on the water jug and then hold down the GIVE or TAKE button so it will transfer the water without spamming the buttons.

Holds up to 5L in my experience, a little known fact about water, other that you can heal to 40, is that you can heal to 100, if you intentionally damage yourself to around 20, you'll have a sufficient period of time to click rapidly enough to have a full 100 hp regen, so the water jug, other than corn is an extremely effective at base healing tool, or on the fly too.

If you try to buy a water jug from a vending machine, you can only buy 1 at a time per delivery.
Also when buying a water jug, it comes with the contents it was put in with, water or saltwater contents.
It takes around 8 seconds to completely fill it up with water.
