You can use it to farm barrels and stuff within safe zone it is not seen as a weapon also it got a pretty good durability compared to other tools

Best tool for farming barrels and roadsign, you can use it within the safe zone to quickly and efficiently farm. You can buy it at a fishing village, or with a small chance, find it in a barrel, and research or craft it for a reasonable price.

Make sure to do what SHOTS does and throw the paddle into a tree so that no one can take the easy way and get free scrap from safe zones.
