Boots are good for cold protection and do not take place of any important armor areas so this is good to use if you would like to stay warm when in a cold area.

The unique sound the boots make will immediately give you away during raids. Unless defending, the burlap shoes are quieter and cheaper and may be more effective in some circumstances.
