Heavy Plate Helmet

A high-tier protective helmet which protects the entire head. It costs High Quality Metal and Sheet Metal making it fairly easy to acquire near monuments and dungeons. The Heavy Plate Helmet will cause a user's view to be diminished to a small rectangle. Due to heavy plate armour suffering from increased fire damage, it can be countered by a flamethrower or incendiary ammo.

  1. The heavy helmet is great to use for base defence specifically at areas where you can only be shot at the head. These areas include horizontal embrasures, armored door hatches, and a few others.
  2. If you are fighting a roofcamper this is a good item to use as it will make you very hard to kill assuming they will only be able to hit your head.

Heavy Plate Helmet alongside with other pieces of the Heavy Plate Armor, not only reduces your cold resistance but also your temperature resistance. Therefore you take bonus damage from high heat as well. This makes all kinds of incendiary ammo absolutely destroy the wearer of the armor.

If you buy a minicopter and use the whole armor set with HV rockets everyone on the server will hate you.

If you're using Heavy Plated Armor set, 100% use Laser sight attachment on your weapon to see, where you aim. One think i should mention is when you engage enemy with this armor set, be carefull if they using Incendiary ammo of any time (incendiary shotgun shells, incediary pistol bullets or incendiary 5.56mm bullet) cuz it deal even more damage (cuz of the negative cold protection) to players equiped with Heavy Plated Armor set.

heavy plate armour is top-tier for base defence if you're being raided, since it blocks a ton of damage and you dont really need to move around much. if at all possible, use the helmet with the chestplate as well, because your head is harder to hit than your body and players can counter your helmet by shooting your chest instead.
