You can use shotguns with Heavy plate jacket. Since you dont really need to aim with them.

Wearing a full set of heavy plate armor while flying can make it much harder to get shot out while going to oil rig. Other then flying, heavy plate leggings and jackets do not have too many other uses.

Using something like a custom smg with a laser sight makes it so you will have an idea of where you are shooting since u can't aim with the jacket on

heavy plate armour is top-tier for base defence if you're being raided, since it blocks a ton of damage and you dont really need to move around much. if at all possible, use the chestplate with the helmet because most players can simply aim for your head instead of center mass.

If you're using Heavy Plated Armor set, 100% use Laser sight attachment on your weapon to see, where you aim. One think i should mention is when you engage enemy with this armor set, be carefull if they using Incendiary ammo of any time (incendiary shotgun shells, incediary pistol bullets or incendiary 5.56mm bullet) cuz it deal even more damage (cuz of the negative cold protection) to players equiped with Heavy Plated Armor set.

Heavy Plate Jacket alongside with other pieces of the Heavy Plate Armor, not only reduces your cold resistance but also your temperature resistance. Therefore you take bonus damage from high heat as well. This makes all kinds of incendiary ammo absolutely destroy the wearer of the armor.
