Large Medkit
The Large Medkit is medical supplies that stops bleeding when used, provides 10 instant health and heals to max health overtime. You can use the Large Medkit by pressing it on your Inventory and click the Use button or move it to your toolbar and press the slot key to use. It does not have an Use animation so bleeding can be stopped immediately. As of July 2021, the Large Medkit can revive you with a chance of 100% while in Wounded state, it must be placed in your toolbar to be consumed. Your revival chance also depends on your Hunger and Hydration status, if both are full, they will give a total of 40% chance to revive you.

It serves its purpose as a very expensive, but useful alternative to the Bandage. Large Medkits have an instant usage which stops any bleeding that you have, which can save your life. Useful for instantly recovering health from a just ended fight or a near-fatal fall. It is not wise to use this instead of a Medical Syringe in cover after taking damage in a firefight, you'd be left with very low health if your enemy decides to rush to your position, so it's better to take a few stacks of Medical Syringe along to counter the downsides of the Large Medkit.

Having a large medkit in your hotbar will give you 100% to get up after you get downed. Useful for oilrig when you do it from crane (and doing monuments in general), just make sure you don't use it on accident

If you're going out on long trips, to raid and or to counter raid, it is recommended to bring this if you want to be brought back to full HP in tight combat situations. It is suggested that you at least bring 1 or 2 incase of death and having the enemy loot them from you. It has a slow healing time so use it carefully.

Will be used by accident 90% of the time. And since it will pick you up only after your wounded state is over, only worth crafting if you are to play at an unreachable place with no line of sight like on top of the ball at the Large Oil Rig or when you are defending from your peek-downs of your base during a raid. Otherwise you will be getting fully finished by your enemies anyway.

If you want to try to get revived by a medkit after a jump, it doesn't work

As of December 14th 2024 (Rust 11th Birthday QoL update), Medkit will 100% revive you after the wounded timer EXCEPT if the wounded timer was caused by a fall.
Source: I had two medkits in my hotbar on a vanilla server. Fell from top of The Dome, used one, had the other in my hotbar the entire time and I still died after wounded timer was done :(

If you can't craft the parachute already, you can jump off a mini or base (up to 9 stories) high with the medkit in your hotbar and jump to your death, as the medkit will ressurrect you 100%,
