M39 Rifle

A military upgrade to the Semi-Automatic Rifle long range and highly accurate. Can be used to kill fully metal geared people. Rarely found in Supply Drop and Hackable Crate.

The bullets have zero travel time and almost zero spread, making it extremely useful with a silencer at long range, while not being terrible at medium to medium-close range.

This is my favourite gun in the game. It is the most versatile gun if you're good with it. You can use it at long range with a 8x or mid-range and close with a holo. It definetly has the best recoil in the game besides the lr. A duo with a m39 and a Lr-300 is op, my friend and I have done it, and it was our best game. You can also buy them both at bandit camp

You should use a 4x scope most of the time. but when in cqb switch over to your holo.

Can be bought for 400 scrap

It is a very practical DMR for mid-long range engagements. It is the best middle ground of a SAR and Bolt Action. With better damage than a sar but less than a bolty, it makes up for this with its fire rate. Useful for early game rig farming or picking off distant players when using a laser attachment and 8x scope. This can especially be useful for picking off max kit players if you take advantage of high ground and natural concealment. Cover and concealment are 2 different things. It's better to not be found than not able to be hit so you can finish off the target.

A pretty quiet gun without any attachments. Good for grubbing on 2x or 5x servers where they are easy to buy at outpost

whenever I have a problem with a roofcamper nearby, I go to outpost during the night, do a bit of paddle farming and maybe some gambling and pick up one of these, if the camper is far away, i also collect a 16x scope. Otherwise, I use the holo sight because it actually gives a lot of zoom on this gun in particular for some reason. This is the perfect middle ground between Semi auto rifle and Bolt action rifle because it is highly accurate and has high damage but you can still fire off many shots quickly. HV rifle ammo helps this thing but depending on the range, it may not be worth the high cost. A suppressor, lasersight and tactical gloves are also a must.

Basically military grade and long-range version of SAR, practically a DMR with modifications.
variable scope / 8x + gas compression overdrive + laser will get you 60 damage and almost boltie accuracy, but in semi mode.
If all of the above but with silencer it has about 43 damage, which is like the SAR but unsilenced. I found out its used very well for long-range suppresive fights, and will defeat boltie mid-range. Althrough long-range boltie is still better.
HV ammo is a must-have when using with silencer or for very long range fights, and the M39 when used only for long-range will last for long time with 64x HV ammo.

You need to use HV 5.56 Rifle Ammo to long range and 5.56 Rifle Ammo to medium and close range . also use 4x or 8x scope
