HV 5.56 Rifle Ammo

A variant of the standard 5.56 rifle ammunition. The High Velocity (HV) 5.56 round will travel faster than the standard round at a more expensive crafting cost. The round experiences little bullet drop. This type of ammo is best used with Bolt Action Rifle and L96 Rifle.

These rounds increase your weapon's muzzle velocity by approximately 20%. When crafting, these require more than triple the amount of gunpowder and 50% more metal frags on a per bullet basis when compared to standard 5.56. Best used in high accuracy weapons at long distances, or in silenced weapons to offset the velocity penalty.

The HV rifle round pairs well with the L96 rifle

This is a crutch. With its high cost it is not worth using over normal rifle ammo. The only circumstances that I would use this is if I was roof camping with L96 or I have so much GP that I just do not care.
