Asbestos Armor Insert

Extremely underrated. Almost esoteric knowledge.

• With these, you are able to create explosion resistant raiding/raid-defense armor.


• To do this, you’ll need a few Pure Crafting Teas. While the tea is active, craft facemasks, wood armor pants, and hide ponchos. The reason for using the poncho and wood armor pants is their natural explosion resistance, which other armor pieces do not provide. The facemask is used because the head is the most important part of the body to protect.


• The armor pieces must have three insert slots, discard any with only two. The facemask can only have one insert slot. Fortunately, the hide poncho and wood armor pants are very cheap to craft. To my understanding, getting a one-slot facemask is almost 99% guaranteed when you drink a Pure Crafting Tea. Any unwanted armor pieces can be recycled later.


• The full set includes a hoodie, pants, roadsign gloves, boots, facemask, hide poncho, and wood armor pants


• With this set, you can reach up to the maximum of +75% explosion resistance. This allows you to survive two direct grenades, four direct grenade launcher shots, two direct HV rockets, and even a single normal rocket. This is insanely useful for raids, as that’s where explosives are most commonly used in PvP.


• The best part is that the inserts are very cheap to craft, and so are the hide poncho and wood armor pants.


• Explosives do not reduce the durability of armor, only bullets do.


• By drinking a Pure Max Health Tea, you can increase your health to 120 and survive even more damage.

After testing it. It doesn't seem to actually do anything. Not sure if it is bugged but stacking these plates will give no protection.
