the AK is absolute dogshit in comparison to this underrated beast of a weapon, especially since you massive clans are willing to pay up loads of high qual and scrap for tiny stat boosts over the gun's predecessor, using this instead of the ak is like a more justified version of that, 60 round mag that can hold lots of explo, better damage and fire rate than ak only costs 10 more hqm and 3 gears. recoil is not even that bad in my opinion better than AK.

Me personally, i also used this gun as a sniper rifle at one point, it's very decent at hitting targets at 250 meters, with a x8 scope attached to it. It's the perfect multi-purpose weapon.

My favorite weapon in the game is the HMLMG. It's highly versatile, incredibly strong, can be looted or crafted, and it has the second largest magazine in the game. I've created a list of Pros, Cons, and some Personal Recommendations. Now, whenever you have to choose what end-game gun to use, you can make the right choice (HMLMG).
Pros: 60 round capacity, base damage of 57, +7 base damage over the AK, +17 base damage over the LR-300, it has a faster fire rate than the AK, and a faster draw speed than the LR-300.
Cons: Very expensive to craft, can't use Extended Magazine or Burst Module attachments, only has 3 attachment slots, and the default iron sights are incredibly difficult to use.
Personal Recommendations: Use with a combination of Lasersight + Holosight/Handmade Sight. This combination makes the HMLMG noticeably more accurate and manageable at longer ranges.

HMLMG is basically weapon of skill, those who dont know the recoil and how to use it will get killed by guy with custom. On the other hand those who know the recoil and how to use will be destroying AK kits. The recoil is hard to learn, you almost never find it, it costs more to craft than the AK and requires T3 workbench, but if you are OK with it it never lets you down. It has 60rnd magazine, more damage than AK and faster firerate than AK. It can be used for long-range PVP, Raiding (lasts 487 explo shots instead of 200 with AK), and to taking down heli. Its basically smaller brother of M249 but craftable.
