MP5A4

The MP5A4 is a craftable, military-grade 30-round submachine gun. Dealing moderate to low damage with low recoil which makes it extremely effective at close range. However, the MP5A4 has one of the widest spreads in the game, limiting its use to short range. Although, like the LR300, this can be countered with a lasersight, making it viable for medium-range combat. The MP5 is currently the only craftable military-grade weapon.

The MP5A4 is a decently powerful but underused weapon. It has poor performance at longer ranges but can sometimes do just as well as an Assault Rifle at closer ranges depending on how well you can control the recoil. It is the most expensive of the 3 SMGs with a 15 High Quality Metal requirement and 1 SMG Body.
At close ranges, just like other pattern weapons you will focus heavily on the target's movement, however with the fast firing speed of 600 BPM you will sometimes have a hard time staying on target. Remember to not crouch at close ranges as you will make yourself vulnerable with the slow movement speed.
At longer ranges you will likely need to crouch, however with the slow velocity you can sometimes have trouble hitting targets and cheaper weapons such as the Semi-Automatic Rifle or Python Revolver will be able to compete against you.
Overall the MP5 can be a great gun and a decent replacement for the AK if you don't have rifle bodies, however the more cost efficient alternatives such as the Semi Automatic Body and Python Revolver can do just as well depending on the situation.

If you run Military Tunnels relatively early into a wipe with compound bows, the scientists have a 1% chance to drop one and a 0.1% chance to drop two Mp5s making it very easy to snowball off of if youre lucky w the odds.

Quick rate of fire and medium damage, might not be able to outclass the Assault Rifle at range, but in close quarters this gun is a beast with an impressive 600 RPM! Being able to outclass most opponents if you hit your shots. Being an expensive smg at the cost of 15 High Quality Metal and 1 SMG Body.

The iron sights on this weapon are terrible, spending a few extra hqm on a simple handmade sight can be quite beneficial, or even better a holosight.

Best CQB weapon in game excluding shotguns, but not effective at longer ranges and could be countered even by Thompson due to its higher bullet velocity. With holosight and/or laserlight MP5 will become effective at 70-100 meters instead of 50 at default. But not even try to shot more than 10 bullets in a row, recoil will be much more stronger further. To be shortly, it is the gun for who couldn't deal with AK recoil and couldn't buy LR-300.

You can change firing modes by pressing M. Burst mode seems to be more accurate for medium-long distances, however this gun is a beast at close/mid range distances due to its fire rate and decent damage.

Pros ::: Easy to learn --- Satisfactory Mid range and good Mid to low and low ranges --- Good DPS --- It is versatile compared with the other SMGs
Cons ::: Expensive to craft --- Really low durability
Tips ::: The Arctic Wolf MP5 is the exact mix between the Custom SMG and the Thompson, getting a good DPS, good Damage and Good range (as a SMG). Also, his recoil is easy to learn and control. Different than the Custom SMG, the MP5A4 continues to maintain his value till the evolved game, trading really well agains't a AK-47 From Hell at lower ranges.
