While this item is only available during the limited time Halloween event, (unless you spawn it in with console commands/are on a modded server) it is the better than both the hatchet AND salvaged axe at harvesting anything. While it is of course not as fast as a chainsaw, it is still considerably and noticeably faster than using regular tools.
