Sunken Chest

The Sunken Chest is a large box resembling a Large Wooden Box that can be found next to Wrecks. They contain a considerable variety of components and Tier 1 Workbench items. The chests themselves are often skinned with a variety of patterns, and are easy to spot underwater while using the Diving Goggles. Like the Sunken Crate, it must be untied first, before it floats to the surface ready to be looted.

One underwater swim taking all crates takes 150-200 seconds of your oxygen tank

Going alone can make the whole journey really slow. Try finding a friend that can wait on top of the water with a boat who collects the crates that float up.

Pro Tip:
Get a combat knife, it has the ability to untie sunken crates and chests by hitting them.
It takes 2 hits for the sunken create and 3 hits for the sunken chest.

These are always additional loot, but it's better to farm on the roads if you want to risk and get more, if you want to get less without a risk, you should choose farming underwater chests/crates.
