Drop Box

The drop box is a device mountable on any wall so long as there is nothing else on that wall such as lamps or another drop box. The front of the drop box is typically placed on the exterior of a building, so that items may be deposited safely to anyone on the other side. The drop box does not require the operation of more than one person, but it will fill up if someone on the rear end does not empty it from time to time, which will disallow you from depositing more items. Be careful to make sure the correct side is facing you when you deploy it, as it may be annoying to remove and place again if you make a mistake.

Want to REALLY piss off raiders? Place your TC in a small room with a sleeping bag and at least one container (Large crate or bbq/small crate). Line one wall with two dropboxes, each going different ways, then completely seal off the room in armored walls. The only way into the room is to commit suicide and spawn on that bag, where you can exchange TC materials and key loot through the dropboxes. It may sound like a hassle, but I've had zergs blow through every door in my base without ever touching my TC.

With two people, a dropbox can be used in the reverse direction. When depositing loot into the rear side of a full dropbox, the next object to be deposited by right clicking or hover looting will be placed into the front side of the dropbox. The person on the front side can then collect the item, thereby successfully reversing the dropbox direction.

The default direction for placing the Drop Box is for it to be placed from inside your base.

Assume your base is a 1x1:
When you place the drop box from INSIDE of your base, the DEFAULT direction in which you can transfer items is: From Outside to Inside.
If you rotate the item by pressing "R", the direction of the box will change and now items will be transfered from Inside of the base, to the Outside.
