1. The bone club is a great tool to use when trying to start off before you get stone tools because of the faster farming rate compared to rocks. Depending on the population of the server, it can be easy to get by farming dead bodies on a beach.

Farming cacti and players with this is worse than the Rock. Farming animals and NPCs is the same compared to the Rock. The Bone Club farms wood and nodes better than the Rock. To get a Bone Club easily just farm random people on the beach, you should have enough bones in no time

Walk up to a naked, and tell him: it's not safe out here, I need to get my starter base down and every second counts. I need your bones, so that I can make a bone club out of it. Sorry, bud!
Then kill him, and harvest his body with your stone to get the required bones. It's a cruel, cruel world.. one man's live is another man's survival chances.
